One of the most exciting features is the unique trail system, which was designed to allow the horses to come right up to the Lodge for resort guests.  Our Equestrian center also contains a 3,800-square-foot special events facility “The Tack Room”. The Tack Room is a one-of-a-kind setting for events and weddings.  Please contact the Front Desk to set up ride times and for more information.

Our Brasstown Creek, which winds through the resort, provides convenient trout fishing and has a variety of trout, as well as other native inhabitants.  Our pond on the property is home to a variety of species including Bass, Bream & Catfish. Several great trout streams are located within 45 minutes of the resort. Lakes Chatuge and Nottely, located nearby, offer fine marinas providing watercraft for fishing, skiing, pontoon and party boats.  For more information, please contact the Pro Shop.

Golf

Enjoy the best golf experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains right here.  The golf course has been ranked by Golf Digest and Leading Golf Courses of America as well as a “Must Play” by Golf Styles Magazine.

Designed by Denis Griffiths, the course winds through wildlife preserves, ponds, and streams framed in by the mountains.  With four sets of tees, all skill levels will be able to enjoy a layout that is maintained to the standards you’d expect.  Our facility also offers a full practice range, well equipped Pro Shop (located right downstairs), and if you didn’t bring your clubs, excellent rental equipment.  Private lessons and clinics are also available through our professional staff.
